ALL YOU’LL NEED IS AN EXERCISE BALL+ A PAIR OF WEIGHTS…CAT IS OPTIONAL ;-)
This series activates the posterior chain…which allows us to maintain good posture + proper neck alignment.
Why is this important?
Reaching back through the heels tightens the thighs + booty
Upper back strengthens when you make a straight line with your body (head to heels)
Strengthens the back of your neck muscles (which counters forward head) by lifting the back of your head up towards the ceiling
Strengthens back of shoulders, upper back, and arms when pulling weights back in line with spine
This simple exercise balances the musculature against the long hours we sit rounded at our desks.
